Summer is here and event season is truly heating up! We’ve had the pleasure of attending a number of events with Cloudoki already this year, such as MWC, 4YFN, Slush and loads more. The EU-Startups Summit is an exclusive in-person event that showcases many of Europe’s biggest and newest startups and allows them to come together to learn from some of the most successful European entrepreneurs of our time. The event took place on May 12th and 13th, at the beautiful Palau de Congressos de Barcelona, which is located in the heart of Barcelona.
The EU-Startups Summit 2022 gathered over 1,500 founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates, angel investors, VCs, and media from across Europe, with API Suite delighted to attend. The two-day event was an excellent opportunity to network with other like-minded people, spread the gospel about our product and a meeting point for aspiring entrepreneurs and investors who are also aiming to build international tech companies.
There were a wide variety of interesting speakers, some of the highlights included Matt Oldham Co-founder and CEO of Unizest, who gave a fascinating workshop on mental health in startups and scaleups. Afterwards, we listened to Thomas Kosters, Managing Director Deep Ecosystems, and his wonderful presentation about “why ecosystems matter more than unicorns.” API Suite agrees wholeheartedly as we can help you grow your ecosystem by making it simple to make APIs and integrations easily available.
Day 2 saw Gernot Schwendtner, Co-Founder and CEO of weGrow – the Xpansion Canvas, take the stage. It was great to listen to some engaging speeches and see great ideas coming to market. The content over the two days of the event was enlightening, and getting the chance to meet interesting innovators was especially opportune. A massive thanks to all for a great event!
Overall, it was another wonderful experience and the team are thankful for being provided with the opportunity to attend EU-Startups Summit 2022. We hope to attend again next year, with some more new and promising features with our product. We also can’t wait to meet and network with more startups, both new and experienced.
